"Well, it SORT OF works, I guess. I really wouldn't know, because I HAVE NO CLUE as to how some of the controls work. I mean, sure I understand "Left/Right Ear Volumes," and, of course "Phone Volume." I am glad to have known about 1 more control, which was "dB Gain." It is really just about the same as the other volumes except that it has a real unit of measurement, the Decibel (dB). A whisper is about 30, while 50-60 is a normal, relaxed conversation. A jackhammer or a power saw is about 100-110, and Rock concerts, jet engines, and shotgun blasts can all be between 120-145. And, believe it or not, the loudest sound any human is likely to hear (and live to talk about it) is a Humpback Whale at a (very likely) permanently damaging 168 decibels! And if you are unlucky enough to hear that under the water where sound actually travels 5 times faster than it does through the air, you may well never hear anything again. And if do end up hearing anything but a loud hiss for the rest of your life, it would qualify for being a miracle. WOW, did I go off-subject. Sorry. Things like that are just so awesome to me. So, yeah I would like to know what those other controls do, exactly, and what they mean, or are for. It is easy to forget that if you are in some line of work where you pretty much have your own language, it is important to remember that not everyone can understand what all this stuff means."
